Garrett & Alexia Schwartz are California natives on a mission to provide quality, affordable merch to small and big businesses, bands and creators.

Garrett, Singer, Producer, and Pianist of Metal band, HVN, has always had a passion for all things creative / DIY. Being in the music industry, he knows the costs of quality merch cannot only be a big burden, and require higher quantities that come with a higher cost than what a band may be able to afford. Thus came an idea, to learn the merchandising business in’s and outs, but additionally, find a solution to provide quality merch, with low minimums to meet the market needs, big and small.

Alexia, just like her husband, has always been a creative. From spending hours sketching in her room in her teens, to spending many a day and night behind the camera, shooting nature and all band photos for HVN, she has always dreamt of working in a field that would allow her creativity to shine. When Garrett & Alexia started dating, this idea of owning a clothing company felt like a dream, that may never come to light, and in 2024 with the help of her parents, the dream is now a reality.

Broken Stones the name comes from a very important member of Alexia’s Family, Herbert “PA” Freitas. Pa was the foundation of teaching hard work. He instilled a strong work ethic, and was a leader for many generations in the family. When thinking of a name for this company, We wanted something that sounded not only cool and memorable, but had a significant meaning. Broken Stones does just that.
